Joomla like Wordpress is an open source content management system with framework written in PHP. Its origin can be traced back in fork of mambo, Mambo is a registered non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving and protecting Mambo as free Open Source software. The project was said to be funded by mambo but the Joomla team depicted a problem on the provisions and so they broke out from the contract. Controversies after controversies, the Joomla team was reorganized and in September 1 came up with the name “JOOMLA” meaning all together for the product of their research. Joomla releases its first ever version on Sept. 26, 2005 with Joomla 1.0.0.
